Job summary

IDEX Consulting Ltd is recruiting for a Commercial Account Handler in the Doncaster or Sheffield area, working with a team of experienced Account Executives to service a diverse portfolio of commercial clients with premiums typically above £10k.

You’ll be in a 2–3 year handling/broking role designed to develop expertise and potential progression to senior or management positions, with a flexible hybrid working arrangement and a salary up to £40k.

If you’ve got a couple of years’ commercial broking experience and you’re hungry to learn, develop and progress, this could be a good one.

A new Commercial Account Handler opportunity with an established insurance broker, working alongside a team of experienced Account Executives and handling a broad range of commercial clients.

The book is made up of non-SME clients, generally with premiums above £10k, so there’s plenty of variety across sectors including construction, manufacturing, property, liability, motor trade and fleet.

You don’t need to have experience in every sector. The right attitude, willingness to learn and appetite to develop are more important.

The role would suit someone with around 2–3 years’ commercial handling/broking experience who wants to build their knowledge and, longer term, could see themselves progressing into a senior or management position.

Location: Doncaster or Sheffield

Salary: up to £40k
