Job summary

Price Forbes is seeking an experienced Errors & Omissions (E&O) Specialist to support placement and servicing of E&O business. You will focus on client retention at renewal, strong relationships, and leveraging market knowledge for effective risk solutions.

Work alongside brokers, clients and markets to deliver exceptional service and growth. The role requires substantial E&O expertise, cross-border regulatory awareness and leadership when mentoring junior team members.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in Professional Liability/E&O required, preferably in lawyers/architects/engineering classes.
• Knowledge of the London, US and international E&O environment and market developments.
• Strong computer skills including Word/Excel and broking systems.
• Approachable and helpful attitude to colleagues and clients.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Understanding of insurance regulatory environments across multiple countries.
• Ability to multi-task and manage several clients and projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Assist and manage brokers with renewals and new business opportunities and place risk independently if required.
• Prepare formal quotes and issue without requiring checks unless complex.
• Prepare complex MRC documentation and submit for checking as needed.
• Review and improve wordings without prompting.
• Ensure regulatory compliance for multiple territories and countries.
• Prepare supporting documentation to track complex placements.
• Load placements onto PPL and manage client accounts.
• Mentor junior team members with regular meetings.
• Communicate with producers/insureds/underwriters as required.
• Pre-bind check MRCs for changes and potential coverage issues.
• Check and sign binders and certificates.
• Collaborate with Exec Director on new projects and a positive team environment.
• Drive initiatives and address potential problems proactively.

We are seeking a highly experienced Errors & Omissions (E&O) Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the placement and servicing of E&O business, ensuring client needs are met while delivering exceptional service standards. The role will focus on maintaining strong client relationships, securing client retention at renewal, and identifying opportunities to support continued business growth. Working closely with clients, brokers, and markets, the E&O Specialist will leverage their technical expertise and market knowledge to deliver effective risk solutions and drive successful outcomes.

• Accurate preparation of complex MRC documentation, identify required changes and submit to checking prior to order


• Review and improve wordings without prompting

• Preparation of supporting documentation such as spreadsheets to track complex placements


• Ensure premiums and taxes are accurate


• Work with finance to ensure premiums are received and paid

• Maintain files and systems in accordance with the Price Forbes guidelines


• Checking quotes for other members of the team


• Able to identify any potential issues on a placerment before they become an issue


• Mentor junior members of the team with regular meetings


• Communicate with producers/insureds/underwriters where required instead of the broker


• Pre-bind check MRC’s to identify any required or suggested changes showing attention to detail and identifying potential problems with coverage


• Check and sign binders and certificates


• Manage the operations for the respective product line alongside other senior colleagues and work in conjunction with Executive Director


• Take the lead on new projects and initiatives


• Work in conjunction with the Exec Director to create a positive working environment for all and to drive initiatives


• Identify and address any potential problems and set a professional tone for the team
