The company is a leading FinTech Software Provider experiencing significant growth and establishing itself as a market leader. They are seeking an Account Manager to join their well-established sales team to manage a portfolio of their core customers. As industry disruptors, they are growing rapidly and offer both short-term and long-term progression and development opportunities.

They are looking for a self-motivated, experienced, and confident Account Manager with a proven ability to manage their own territory and achieve revenue targets. You will sell their award-winning software using a professional, consultative sales approach to maximize long-term growth opportunities.

Requirements include at least 18 months of SaaS sales experience and experience managing a portfolio of existing relationships, focusing on revenue and retention targets. Ideally, this experience will be within a FinTech company. You will strategically manage your portfolio to retain, cross-sell, and upsell into the customer base.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Deliver monthly targets with a systematic approach to territory management and opportunity identification
  2. Engage customers quarterly and conduct regular account reviews
  3. Understand key customer objectives and define success for them
  4. Upsell and cross-sell additional software and solutions
  5. Build lasting relationships through proactive interactions
  6. Schedule and conduct annual account reviews with key customers
  7. Run product demonstrations both one-on-one and in group/webinar settings
  8. Provide live reports on customer activity and weekly forecast tracking
  9. Proactively contact customers with pending renewals
  10. Attend industry events and staff company exhibition stands to engage with customers and prospects face-to-face

Experience required:

  • At least 18 months of B2B sales experience, preferably within FinTech sectors such as accounting software, tax solutions, payroll, compliance, or forecasting, though other software industries are considered
  • Tenacity and a proven track record of achieving revenue targets
  • Ability to develop sales plans within a territory
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Confidence in demonstrating and presenting
  • Personal responsibility and achievement-oriented mindset
