Hotel: Corp Windsor, Windsor One, Arthur Road, IHG Hotels & Resorts, SL4 1RS

At IHG, we’re looking for someone who can build meaningful client relationships, spot opportunities others might miss, and drive commercial results across a growing portfolio of sports accounts. If you thrive on strategy, relationships and making an impact, this 12m FTC role could be your next move.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Manage and grow a strategic portfolio of sports accounts across Transient, Groups & Meetings, and Speciality Markets, focusing on long-term value.
  • Develop account plans and negotiate commercial agreements to drive incremental revenue across all IHG brands.
  • Identify new business opportunities aligned to market demand, using data and insights to make informed decisions.
  • Work closely with hotel teams to match high-impact sports clients with the right properties, particularly in luxury and upscale segments.
  • Represent IHG at key industry events, building visibility and strengthening relationships within the sports sector.

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong commercial background in strategic sales, account management and/or business development, ideally with experience in the sports industry.
  • Proven ability to grow accounts, lead negotiations, and build trusted partnerships that deliver results.
  • Familiarity with Challenger Sales or similar consultative sales frameworks.
  • Experience working across international markets and diverse cultures.
  • Fluent in English, with additional languages seen as an advantage.
