Job Description:
Our client is an award-winning global Integrated Experiential Agency.
We are recruiting for two Account Directors with exceptional experiential experience coupled with client growth management skills.
The key role is to build and develop meaningful relationships with top-tier clients to ensure satisfaction and business growth.
The Account Director does not manage daily project operations, which are handled by the Project Delivery team, but must ensure that teams deliver to client needs while maintaining profitability.
This role includes onsite event delivery and international travel for periods up to two weeks.
Skills and Experience
- Extensive experience in director-level account management across experiential campaigns
- Experience in organic growth and business development
- Experience managing high-profile, complex projects with large budgets in an agency environment
- Experience delivering campaigns in gaming, sport, and tech sectors
- Strong pitch management skills with end-to-end ownership
- Excellent presentation and sales abilities
- Experience presenting to senior client groups and procurement teams within large multinational brands
- Proven ability in upselling and cross-selling within existing clients
- Commercial awareness and profitability management skills
- Experience across multiple delivery sectors, including exhibitions, events, conferences, government projects, etc.
- International experience with multi-currency projects and regional nuances
- Confidence working with producers, project managers, and technical teams
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Proven growth of client portfolios
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic planning for account growth
- Main client contact, maintaining positive relationships and exceeding expectations
- Developing business within the client base
- Sourcing and generating new opportunities within existing accounts
- Delivering compelling sales pitches to secure new projects
- Managing client account financials and working with delivery teams to ensure profitability
- Developing briefs and presenting them to delivery teams
- Leading pitch work to ensure strategic and financial success
- Overseeing project details and representing the client internally
- Achieving all KPIs
- Collaborating with creative and delivery teams on presentations
- Representing the agency in stakeholder meetings
- Supporting client invoicing and purchase order processes
- Negotiating with clients and procurement teams
- Occasionally acting as Project Manager for small projects
- Mentoring junior team members
