Taxi Studio is seeking an ambitious Account Director to lead and grow client relationships while driving creative opportunities. This role involves developing strategic business plans, mentoring team members, and ensuring client satisfaction through exceptional service. Client Teams’ Purpose:To grow sustainable client relationships, accounts and fee.
Account Director’s Purpose: To direct client relationships and surpass annual client targets.
As an Account Director at Taxi Studio, you'll lead and grow client relationships and fees while unlocking creative opportunities. You’ll be accountable for creating and executing your annual client development plan, using your deep understanding of clients' businesses and brands to create unforgettable work and client service. You'll push the boundaries of our offerings to exceed expectations, drive commercial success for our clients, and enhance our capabilities. As an ambitious leader, you'll champion collaboration both internally and externally, while always being mindful of our Code of Conduct.
Client Leadership
You’ll build and direct real relationships with your clients and to ensure we create unforgettable work, you’ll develop an affinity with them, seeking to gain a thorough understanding of their ambitions, fears, businesses, brands, competitors and more. Additionally, you’ll offer value-added consultancy, proactively presenting influential ideas and solutions that showcase Taxi Studio’s creative expertise.
Project Advisor
With one foot in the project detail, you’ll advise on client projects and be the key decision maker for your accounts. Together with the project team, you’ll interrogate the client brief and support the creation of inspiring ‘Famework’ creative briefs when they’re required. You’ll advise on the briefing process ensuring that they establish the correct problem to solve and compelling reasons to care.
Commercial Accountability
You’re accountable for delivering your pod’s monthly and annual client fee and profitability targets, building the project pipeline, presenting accurate weekly forecasting, routinely tracking project financial performance and performance managing your account team. You’ll consult on project proposals to ensure accuracy and efficiency in the first instance; however, it’s your responsibility to ensure that they don’t leave the studio without your approval to ensure quality and consistency is maintained.
Strategic Business Development
You’ll identify opportunities for our creative and strategic thinking to add value to our clients’ brands with the express aim of converting them into exciting projects. You’ll continuously develop senior-level client relationships, and when trust is built, seek referrals and introductions to their networks. To ensure that you maintain momentum and are focussing your energy in the right place, you’ll present a summary of your client development progress, and client target status to Management Team every quarter.
Team Mentor
Your Client Team will look to you for on-the-job guidance to hone their critical thinking and practical skills. You’ll delegate tasks thoughtfully and appropriately–not just to unburden your busy schedule–but to nurture their growth and development, supporting their goal setting and career progression. You may also have the responsibility of line-managing one–or few–with a view to ensuring their career development stays on the right track.
