Apax in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Accommodation Manager to lead a team of Recovery Coordinators and ensure high-quality, compliant support for residents. The role focuses on engaging and empowering residents while maintaining strong professional partnerships.

This is a full-time, fixed-term position at 37.5 hours per week, requiring graduate-level health and social care qualifications and substantial mental health experience.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree or vocational qualification in health and social care.
  • 2 years’ experience managing support staff, incidents and difficult situations with resilience.
  • 2 years’ experience working with other professionals involved with supporting a client.
  • 5 years’ experience working with clients with enduring mental health, challenging behaviours, complex needs and substance misuse.
  • Understanding of the roles of statutory agencies involved in mental health.
  • Excellent knowledge of mental health conditions; dual diagnoses; equality, diversity and safeguarding procedures; quality assurance and compliance; support planning and risk assessment/management plans.
  • Strong computer skills and digital dexterity.
  • Experience in using Customer Relationship Management systems and databases.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to use own initiative to find solutions.
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritise a varied workload.
  • Warm and friendly demeanour with a positive and open-minded attitude.
  • Thirst for knowledge, strive for excellence, and a humble posture of learning.
  • A genuine desire to want to make a difference and help disadvantaged individuals to have meaningful and purposeful lives.
