The role suits someone who combines practical management skills with a genuine commitment to supporting vulnerable people, including those experiencing homelessness and rough sleeping, and older people who need care.

The successful candidate will be a key point of contact for residents, staff, visitors and contractors, providing visible leadership and making sure each service is safe, welcoming and well managed. You will oversee staffing, safeguarding, health and safety, security, tenancy support, allocations and resident engagement, and you will respond calmly and confidently to emerging issues and risks.

You will work closely with the Asset Manager (Accommodation) to support and develop staff, monitor service performance, manage site standards and maintenance, and make sure residents receive a high-quality, person-centred service. Location, contract type, salary or rate, and working arrangements will be confirmed with candidates.

  • Oversee health and safety, fire safety and site security, including regular checks and risk assessments
  • Manage tenancy support, allocations and move-in and move-out processes in line with policy
  • Support residents with complex needs and work with partner agencies, support services and health and social care teams
  • Respond to incidents and emerging risks, and make sure they are recorded and followed up
  • Monitor service performance, resident outcomes and site standards, and report to senior managers
  • Oversee site maintenance, repairs and contractor visits, working with the Asset Manager (Accommodation)
  • Encourage resident engagement and feedback, and use it to improve the service
  • Maintain accurate records and make sure data is kept up to date on relevant systems

  • Ability to manage a busy service, prioritise competing demands and stay calm under pressure
