Job summary

Away Resorts Ltd is seeking an Accommodation Cleaner at Tattershall Lakes Country Park in Lincolnshire. Part-time role (Mon and Fri) with flexible hours around school schedules; additional weekend hours may be available. Salary listed as £12.71 per hour.

You’ll join a team dedicated to preparing guest accommodations to high standards, including beds, bathrooms, kitchens and living spaces, with ongoing opportunities for training and development.

Qualifications

• We’ll provide training, but you must understand what clean means and have strong attention to detail.
• Be friendly and helpful, and communicate well within the team.
• Be open to learning; eagerness to learn matters more than experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest accommodation to high standards, including changing beds, vacuuming, dusting, and thoroughly cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and living spaces.
• Aim to make a meaningful contribution to guests’ holidays through your work.
• Be flexible and willing to help with tasks outside your role, including working bank holidays.

Accommodation Cleaner

What You Will Be Doing

Working as part of our team of holiday heroes, you will be cleaning and preparing guest accommodation to our high, high standards – and then a little bit higher! This includes changing beds, vacuuming, dusting, and thoroughly cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and living spaces. Always with the aim of making your contribution to someone’s holiday count every bit as much as the food they eat and the fun they have.

And who knows what else you may find yourself doing. As long as you’re happy to help even when it’s ‘not your job,’ you’re our sort of person.

One more thing…holidays happen at holiday times, so you will need to work your magic on bank holidays too.

Skills, Experience, And Qualities You’ll Need.

We’ll provide training, but you must:

• Have an awareness of what clean means – which includes attention to detail and getting a genuine thrill from a job well-done
• Have a friendly and helpful attitude - delightful when you meet guests and good at communicating within your team.
• Be open to learning – experience isn’t as important as eagerness to learn
