Job summary

Away Resorts is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our accommodation and holiday parks in top condition. You will repair, maintain and improve facilities across our Lincolnshire and Hertfordshire locations, reporting to the Maintenance Manager.

A strong practical mindset, basic DIY skills and a Full UK Driving Licence are essential for this role. You’ll join a team that values service, safety, and high standards, with opportunities to learn on the job and contribute to guest satisfaction

Responsibilities

• Essential maintenance and repair work as part of the team.
• Follow guidance from the Maintenance Manager and experienced colleagues.
• Carry out checks and repairs to meet high standards and health & safety rules.
• Support on changeover days and coordinate with other tradespeople when needed.
• Tackle a variety of tasks to keep holiday accommodation and park facilities in good condition.

We need someone who will keep our accommodation, and the holiday park, in tip-top condition and looking spectacular, repairing, maintaining, renewing, and improving everything from the entrance signage to the back fence.

What you'll be doing

As part of our team of holiday heroes, you will help the Maintenance Manager to ensure everything is in good working order. Your work will include:

• Essential maintenance and repair work, such changing taps, fixing shelves and TV.
• Working as part of an experienced team who will assist and support you with tasks you may be unfamiliar with.
• Working to our high standards, exceeding customers' expectations, and complying with Health & Safety legislation and company policies.
• Carrying out maintenance checks and repairs on changeover days, working with other tradespeople when necessary.
• Pretty much anything else that other people can’t do!

Guests and team will look to you to fix what's broken and restore order, so you will need to be confident, friendly, and obliging in addition to your practical skills.

Skills, experience, and qualities you'll need.

We will train you, but you'll need to have the following skills and experience to apply for this role:

• A basic understanding of Health & Safety at work
• Full UK Driving licence.
• Basic DIY skills
