Richmond and Hillcroft Adult Community College is seeking a Biology lecturer to support the Access to HE Health and Human Sciences Diploma in the Foundation Learning department. You will plan, prepare and assess, providing timely feedback to learners and coordinating course administration.
The role requires a Biological Sciences degree, a full teaching qualification and relevant experience in HE access programmes.

Working in the Foundation Learning department, you will report to the Programme Manager for Science & Maths.
You will be teaching Biology units on the Access to HE Health and Human Sciences Diploma. Your duties will include course planning, preparation, marking homework and classwork, marking assignments, giving feedback to learners and course administration including monitoring and supporting learners to complete PLPs. You may also support with providing advice and information about science courses to a range of learners. You will also be involved in internal moderation and standardisation activities.
You will work with your colleagues to ensure high standards in teaching, learning and assessment, and high levels of customer satisfaction.
You will have a degree in a Biological Sciences subject or similar, a full teaching qualification and experience of teaching and assessing on an Access to HE Diploma. Lessons are scheduled to take place on Mondays from 9.30-15.30.
