Ready to take charge of the consents process on some of the UK's most important energy projects?

We're looking for a Consents Manager to join our team and lead the way in securing the permissions and approvals that keep our projects moving. From Development Consent Orders (DCOs) to land rights and everything in between, you'll be at the heart of ensuring our infrastructure work stays on track.

What will I be doing?

1. You'll take the lead on securing all the land rights we need - wayleaves, easements, planning permissions, leases, and even land acquisitions to keep our projects moving forward.
2. You'll play a key part in delivering major infrastructure projects across the UK, whether that's installing underground cables, overhead lines, or other energy works on public or private land.
3. You'll be the go-to person for all kinds of stakeholders, from landowners and agents to local authorities and contractors, making sure everyone's on the same page.
4. You'll make sure everything we do is fully compliant with the right legislation and regulations, including the Electricity Act and land rights laws.
5. And when it comes to land access and compensation, you'll be front and centre - negotiating, resolving issues, and helping to get the green light for works to begin.

What do I need to succeed?

1. Industry know-how - You've got experience in the utilities or infrastructure sector - whether it's electricity, gas, water, or similar.
2. Land rights expertise - You're confident handling easements, access permissions, and statutory consents.
3. People skills - You're great at building relationships and can confidently engage with landowners, agents, local authorities, and contractors.
4. Regulatory knowledge - You understand UK land and planning laws, including the Electricity Act and other key regulations.
5. On-the-ground flexibility - You're comfortable managing multiple projects and travelling to sites when needed (a full UK driving licence is a must).
