The Wiggett Group is seeking an experienced Access Control professional to step into a Technical Manager role in Brentwood, Essex. Initially hands-on with fault-finding and quality checks, you will gradually take on leadership of engineering standards, team performance, and technical delivery.

Ideal candidates will have strong technical knowledge, leadership potential, and a proactive mindset. Management experience is not mandatory; growth into technical management is the objective of this role.

Competenze

• Proven experience as an Access Control Engineer or senior/lead engineer.
• Strong fault-finding abilities and technical knowledge.
• Experience supporting colleagues or taking the lead on issues.

Mansioni

• Provide technical support and guidance to field engineers.
• Diagnose faults and support testing and commissioning.
• Review reports to ensure quality standards; conduct site inspections.
• Mentor engineers and identify training needs.
• Ensure compliance with legislation and health & safety.
