Job summary

The Wiggett Group is seeking an experienced Access Control Supervisor to lead our Fire & Security division, focusing on access control and security systems. You will support field engineers, guide fault-finding, review reports, and ensure safe, high‑quality work to achieve first-time fixes.

Ideal candidates will have a background as Access Control Engineer or Senior/Lead Engineer moving into supervision, with strong technical knowledge and leadership capabilities across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Access Control / Security Systems.
• Strong practical and technical understanding of access control systems.
• Experience reading engineer reports, photos and technical info.
• Ability to supervise field-based engineers and manage multiple jobs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a team of field-based Access Control and Security Engineers.
• Provide day-to-day technical guidance to engineers and assist with fault-finding.
• Review engineer reports, service reports and fault findings for quality and accuracy.
• Coordinate workloads and ensure engineers have required materials and information.
• Monitor progress and first-time fix rates across sites and projects.
• Provide technical feedback and coaching to support continuous improvement.
