Job summary

STC Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced CCTV / Access Control Engineer to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. The role is primarily field-based across East Anglia, with an office near Ipswich and a requirement to travel to customer sites.

You will install, service and maintain CCTV and access control systems, support job planning, and help ensure service visits are completed efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience installing, servicing or maintaining CCTV and/or access control systems.
• Full UK driving licence; ability to lift equipment and climb ladders when required.
• Willingness to undergo DBS check.

Job description

CCTV / Access Control Engineer - STC Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced CCTV / Access Control Engineer to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The work will be mainly based across East Anglia, and you will ideally live within a 30-mile radius of our modern purpose-built office and workshop near Ipswich, Suffolk.

About the role:

As a CCTV / Access Control Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, servicing and maintaining CCTV and access control systems across a variety of customer sites throughout East Anglia. Working both independently and alongside a small team, you will ensure security systems and equipment are installed, serviced and maintained to a high standard. You will also support the management team with job planning, parts ordering and ensuring service visits are completed efficiently. This role is Monday - Friday and is primarily field-based.

Main Duties and responsibilities:

• Install, service and maintain CCTV, access control and security systems at customer sites
• Diagnose faults and resolve technical issues efficiently
• Assist with planning jobs and ordering required parts
• Maintain strong customer relationships through professional and reliable service
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company standards
• Support weighing engineers when required with equipment servicing and installation
• Maintain accurate records of work carried out

About you:

As a CCTV / Access Control Engineer, you will have previous experience installing, servicing or maintaining CCTV and/or access control systems, along with a working knowledge of IT equipment. You will have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritise work effectively while managing your time independently. You will demonstrate excellent customer service skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients. A full UK driving licence is essential, along with the ability to climb ladders and lift equipment when required. Applicants must also be willing to undergo a DBS check.

Please note: Applicants must be physically fit enough to lift 20kg weights to assist the weighing engineers when required.
