HVAC Total FM Recruitment is seeking an experienced CCTV & Access Control Engineer to join our growing team in Manchester. You will install, commission, service and maintain CCTV and access control systems across commercial properties, diagnosing faults and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

The role includes out-of-hours call-out and a company van, with a clear training and progression plan. A full UK driving license and relevant security certifications are preferred.

The Role

As a CCTV & Access Control Engineer, you'll be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing, maintenance and fault finding of a wide range of electronic security systems across commercial buildings.

Working independently and as part of a wider engineering team, you'll deliver a first-class service while building strong relationships with clients and ensuring all systems operate safely and efficiently.

This role also includes participation in a shared out-of-hours call-out rota.

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience installing and maintaining CCTV systems

• Experience working with access control systems

• Intruder alarm experience

• Strong electrical fault-finding skills

• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable Qualifications

• ECS Card

• SSAIB, NSI or equivalent industry accreditation

• Experience within Facilities Management or Building Services

• Experience working on commercial properties

• Network/IP CCTV knowledge

• Experience with leading manufacturers including Paxton, Hikvision, Avigilon, Gallagher, Honeywell or similar
