Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a CCTV & Access Control Field Engineer for UK assignments. The role involves installing, maintaining and troubleshooting door access control and CCTV systems, plus related cabling and network work.

You will work independently and with teams, traveling locally or nationally as required. The position requires solid knowledge of electronic security systems, problem-solving ability, and a full UK driving licence.

Job Summary: CCTV & Door Access Control Engineer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of door access control & cctv systems. This role requires a strong understanding of electronic security systems and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. This role will also include other installation work for the company, including but not limited to the installation of network infrastructure cabling (Cat5, Cat6, Cat6a etc.)

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain door access control & cctv systems, including hardware and software components.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of access control & cctv systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to access control & cctv systems, including hardware malfunctions and software errors.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all installations and maintenance activities.
• Provide training and support to clients on the use of access control & cctv systems.
• Keep detailed records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.
• Travel locally or nationally where required.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of electronic security systems, including key card access, biometric systems, and intercom systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Hold a Full Valid UK Driving Licence.
