Job summary

Hexagon Recruitment is seeking a CCTV & Access Control Field Engineer to install, service and troubleshoot door access control and CCTV systems across the UK. You will work both independently and as part of a team, ensuring high standards and client satisfaction.

The role requires travel locally or nationally, a solid understanding of electronic security hardware and software, and a valid UK driving licence. Immediate interviews available.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to access control & CCTV systems.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all installations and maintenance activities.
• Provide training and support to clients on the use of access control & CCTV systems.
• Keep detailed records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.
• Travel locally or nationally where required.

CCTV & Access Control Field Engineer

Salary & Package - £40k to £47k + Paid Overtime + Company Van + Expenses + Health Benefits Package + 25 & 8 Bank Holidays per annum.

Job Summary

CCTV & Door Access Control Engineer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of door access control & cctv systems. This role requires a strong understanding of electronic security systems and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. This role will also include other installation work for the company, including but not limited to the installation of network infrastructure cabling (Cat5, Cat6, Cat6a etc.).

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain door access control & cctv systems, including hardware and software components.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of access control & cctv systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to access control & cctv systems, including hardware malfunctions and software errors.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all installations and maintenance activities.
• Provide training and support to clients on the use of access control & cctv systems.
• Keep detailed records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.
• Travel locally or nationally where required.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of electronic security systems, including key card access, biometric systems, and intercom systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Hold a Full Valid UK Driving Licence.
