Job summary

Nottingham Forest Football Club is recruiting an Academy Head of Performance Analysis to lead, coordinate and drive the delivery of performance analysis support across all Academy age groups.

Based at the Nigel Doughty Academy and reporting to the Assistant Academy Manager, the successful candidate will manage the day-to-day operations of the Academy analysis department, track player development through objective and subjective performance data, and help embed the Academy's philosophy and

Qualifications

• Educated in Performance Analysis, Sports Science and/or coaching.
• UEFA B Licence or equivalent required/full endorsement.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the performance analysis function across Academy age groups.
• Oversee analysis related to philosophy and methodology within the Academy.
• Manage day-to-day Academy analysis operations and deliver insights.
• Collaborate with MDT teams to provide high-level reports to players and coaches.
• Analyse individual players using subjective and objective data for strategic decisions.
• Drive analysis projects for long-term development of Academy analysis.
• Develop and deliver high-quality analytic products and insights for performance outcomes.
• Implement a professional development programme for staff and the analysis team.
• Recruit permanent staff when needed per club protocols.
• Oversee the Academy internship programme and guide interns.
• Produce monthly/quarterly/yearly reports aligned with strategy.
