Job summary

The Graduate Network is seeking an Academic Learning Support Assistant in Wolverhampton to provide dedicated 1:1 support across the national curriculum, helping a student engage in lessons and build confidence.

This temporary role runs from September 2026 to July 2027 in a secondary school setting; DBS check required and degree 2:2 or above. Daily rate £85-£101, offering valuable school-based experience in education.

Qualifications

• Clear and confident verbal and written communication.

The Role

You will work closely with teaching staff to reinforce classwork, support academic progress, and help the student build confidence across the school day.

You are calm, observant, and able to build trust through consistency and clear communication. You want practical school-based experience, you can stay patient in a busy secondary setting, and you are interested in how focused support helps a young person overcome barriers to learning and make steady progress.

Requirements

• Degree – A 2:2 or above in any subject.
