Job summary
Blue Education is seeking an Academic Lead for Physics & Engineering to own the student stream, strengthen the curriculum and guide tutor teams. You will work with high-achieving students aiming for Oxbridge, Imperial and other top universities, delivering expert teaching and admissions strategy.
The role combines subject leadership with programme quality, people leadership and outcomes-focused planning, including evenings and weekends during peak application cycles.
Qualifications
- Degree in Physics, Engineering or Natural Sciences from a top global university.
- Minimum 500+ hours of teaching/advising experience with high-achieving students.
- Experience supporting applicants to highly selective universities.
- Strong communication, digital literacy and ability to lead tutors.
Responsibilities
- Deliver rigorous Physics and Engineering teaching and admissions guidance.
- Manage a portfolio of students, track progress and provide academic planning.
- Provide guidance on admissions for Oxbridge, Imperial and top universities.
- Lead and mentor Physics/Engineering tutors and ensure high teaching standards.
- Engage with webinars, events and family sessions to grow the programme.
- Develop curricula, enrichment pathways and resources for admissions.
