Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support across a portfolio of courses, including assessment administration, examinations, and QA processes.
  • Support quality assurance activities and student engagement.
  • Act as a key point of contact for students throughout their academic journey, guiding to appropriate support services.
  • Assist with records management and pastoral support within the team.
  • Support meetings by preparing documentation and producing minutes.

We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Academic Administrator to join our Academic Administration team. This varied and rewarding role supports the delivery of courses across the University, helping to ensure an excellent student experience and the smooth administration of academic processes.

Working closely with academic staff and professional service colleagues, you will provide high-quality administrative support across a portfolio of courses, supporting key activities including assessment administration, examinations, quality assurance processes, and student engagement activities. You will act as a key point of contact for students throughout their academic journey, offering guidance and signposting to appropriate support services when required.

About the Team

The Academic Administration team plays a vital role in supporting the delivery of learning and teaching across the University. The team works in partnership with academic colleagues and professional service departments to ensure students receive a high-quality experience from enrolment through to graduation.

As part of a collaborative and supportive environment, the team is responsible for a wide range of academic administration activities, including assessments, examinations, quality assurance processes, student engagement, records management, and pastoral support.
