Job summary

Saffery Champness in Peterborough offers a Graduate Accounts Trainee (ACA) programme starting September 2027. You will study towards the ACA while gaining hands-on experience across financial statements, management accounts and client data processing.

The role welcomes graduates from diverse backgrounds, with a three-year training contract, access to tuition centres and progression through structured development with mentorship and on-the-job learning.

Qualifications

• 2:1 undergraduate degree in any discipline required or expected.
• Minimum 120 UCAS points from top 3 A Levels/Highers (or equivalent).
• GCSE/National 5 Maths and English Language at least 6/B required.
• AAT qualification accepted in place of A-Levels/Highers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing financial statements, management accounts and related analysis.
• Work with client financial data using accounting systems and tools.
• Assist with resolving day-to-day accounting queries as you gain experience.
• Prepare accurate, high-quality work for review by senior team members.

Education

2:1 undergraduate degree (expected or obtained) in any discipline
