Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions in Glasgow is recruiting an AC Engineer to perform Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance on Trane Units and AC Split Systems. The role includes fault finding, BMS coordination, and upskilling opportunities.

Experience with F-Gas and VRV/VRF systems preferred; Monday–Friday, 8:00–16:30 with on-call when trained. Progression opportunities available.

Qualifications

• F-Gas City & Guilds Qualification.
• Strong experience in HVAC Maintenance.
• Recognized or Time Served Apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage risks on site and improve preventative maintenance program.
• Maintain environment conditions via BMS and handle reactive and PPM tasks.
• Fault finding on HVAC equipment with bias to VRV/VRF systems and refrigerant handling (F-Gas).
• Provide Electrical and Mechanical expertise to the Maintenance team.
• Liaise with onsite Supervisor and Account Manager to resolve building services issues.

About Us

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting an AC Engineer to join our team in Glasgow!

The successful candidate will perform Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance to both Trane Units and AC Split Systems.

The Role

• Identify and manage the risks to the client through the equipment on site, including identifying critical spares, improving performance of equipment, managing the environment conditions on site through the BMS system and running all equipment efficiently, improving and implementing the preventative maintenance program.
• Using new equipment and technologies to maintain a working and comfortable environment liaising with the client on any requests for certain reactive and PPM tasks.
• Fault finding on all types of HVAC equipment with a bias to the maintenance of Variable Refrigerant Volume air conditioning systems. Working with refrigerant and having the necessary qualifications in the handling of F-Gas.
• Provide Electrical and Mechanical expertise to the Maintenance team.
• Liaise with onsite Supervisor and Account Manager to manage any Building Services related issues, responding confidently and accurately as required.

• 8am - 4.30pm with flexibility

There is an on-call schedule for this role once trained.
