Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions in Aberdeen is seeking an AC Engineer to join our facilities team. You will perform Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance on Trane units and AC split systems, ensuring equipment runs efficiently and environments stay comfortable for building occupants.

The role involves identifying risks, planning preventative maintenance, fault finding on HVAC systems (VRV/BMS), and handling F-Gas compliant work.

Qualifications

• HVAC maintenance expertise across diverse systems.
• F-Gas handling qualification required.
• Demonstrated time-served apprenticeship or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage risks to the client through on-site equipment and preventative maintenance.
• Utilise new equipment/technologies to maintain a safe, comfortable environment and handle reactive/PPM tasks.
• Fault-find on HVAC equipment with emphasis on VRV/VRF systems and refrigerant handling (F-Gas).
• Provide electrical and mechanical expertise to the maintenance team.
• Liaise with onsite Supervisor and Account Manager to resolve Building Services issues, including on-call duties after training.

About Us

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting an AC Engineer to join our team in Aberdeen!

The successful candidate will perform Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance to both Trane Units and AC Split Systems.

The Role

• Identify and manage the risks to the client through the equipment on site, including identifying critical spares, improving performance of equipment, managing the environment conditions on site through the BMS system and running all equipment efficiently, improving and implementing the preventative maintenance program.
• Using new equipment and technologies to maintain a working and comfortable environment liaising with the client on any requests for certain reactive and PPM tasks.
• Fault finding on all types of HVAC equipment with a bias to the maintenance of Variable Refrigerant Volume air conditioning systems. Working with refrigerant and having the necessary qualifications in the handling of F-Gas.
• Provide Electrical and Mechanical expertise to the Maintenance team.
• Liaise with onsite Supervisor and Account Manager to manage any Building Services related issues, responding confidently and accurately as required.

There is an on-call schedule for this role once trained.
