Job summary

Calibre Search is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer for Cambridge and surrounding areas. The role focuses on domestic installation and maintenance with minimal travel and no call-out rota.

You will install, service and fault-find domestic AC systems, complete required paperwork, and uphold high standards of workmanship and customer service while working mostly locally.

Qualifications

Looking for an AC engineering role without the constant call-outs and weekend work? This could be exactly what you're looking for.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join an established company based in the Cambridgeshire area. The role is predominantly domestic air conditioning installation and maintenance, with work kept very local across Cambridge and the surrounding areas.

Travel is minimal, with most sites within around 45 minutes even on a bad day, meaning you can spend less time travelling and more time doing the job.

The Role

• Installing and maintaining domestic air conditioning systems
• Carrying out servicing, repairs and fault finding
• Working independently while representing the company professionally
• Completing relevant paperwork and job reports
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service

About You

• The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within air conditioning, particularly with domestic AC installation and maintenance.

• Relevant qualifications such as F-Gas and/or an NVQ in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning would be advantageous.
