The successful candidate will work on motors up to 20 tonnes, adhere to H&S standards, and operate in a busy engineering environment offering overtime and progression within a period of regular shifts.

Qualifications

• Hands-on motor winding/rewinding experience (AC/DC).
• Essential: Workshop/engineering background, strong practical skillset, confidence with testing and winding principles.
• Desirable: Formal winding qualification/training (or strong informal training with core principles).

Responsibilities

• Test, repair and rewinding of AC/DC motors, armature rewinding and testing of windings.
• Follow H&S procedures and maintain workshop standards.
• Handle motors up to 20 tonnes and ensure timely delivery to customer schedules.
