Pioneer Selection is seeking a Workshop Engineer for our West Bromwich client. The role covers repair, refurbishment and maintenance of mechanical equipment, including gearboxes, pumps and motors in a busy engineering workshop.

The ideal candidate has hands-on mechanical engineering experience, a background in workshop settings, and strong fault-finding and fitting skills. Regular overtime and a company pension are among the benefits on offer.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical engineering experience.
• Experience working in a workshop or engineering environment.
• Practical background in mechanical fitting, assembly and fault finding.

Responsibilities

• Repair, refurbishment and maintenance of mechanical equipment in a busy workshop.
• Work on gearboxes, pumps, rotating machinery and motors and ensure proper functioning.
