Job summary

ASCO Group Limited in Aberdeen seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead and coordinate all daily activities across Aberdeen locations, ensuring safety, efficiency and regulatory compliance. You will supervise contractors, optimise resources and maintain high service standards for cargo, lifting and logistics operations.

You will promote a strong HSSEQ culture, manage performance, and drive continuous improvement while building effective relationships with customers and partners.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and supervisory experience in logistics/ offshore support bases.
• Strong knowledge of HSSEQ requirements and safe systems of work.
• Experience in managing contractors and third-party services.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible operational leadership across Aberdeen facilities.
• Coordinate personnel, contractors and visitors with safety in mind.
• Manage offshore cargo dispatch in line with service targets.
• Ensure accurate recording of operational data and performance metrics.
• Lead risk assessments, PTW processes and incident investigations.
• Develop relationships with customers and stakeholders to support delivery.
