Job summary

Cranswick Country Foods Fresh Poultry in Eye, Suffolk is looking for an EV Room Operative to join our established team. You will ensure smooth EV Room operations, including offal packing and organ grading, with duties potentially evolving to meet factory needs.

Shift pattern is Monday to Friday, 14:15–22:45. We offer training, a company pension, and wellbeing benefits such as a health hub, cycle-to-work, gym discounts, and free parking.

Qualifications

Job requirements of EV Room Operative

We are looking for an EV Room Operative to join our established team here at Cranswick Country Foods Fresh Poultry in Eye, Suffolk. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the EV Room, with duties including offal packing and grading of organs etc.

Shift Pattern – Monday – Friday 14:15pm – 22:45pm

Duties

• To support with the general production of our chicken products, duties will include but are not limited to; offal packing, grading of organs and more.
• Abiding to Food Safety, Hygiene and COSHH to ensure safe production of our products.
• Duties and responsibilities can change regularly based on the factory needs

What you will need

• Be self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative
• Enjoy working to targets in a fast paced environment
• Possess high standards of work
• Have a basic level of both written and verbal English
• Enjoy working as part of a team
• Ideally have experience of working within the food production industry, however this is not necessary as full training will be provided

• Rate of Pay - £14.56 per hour (Rate inclusive of a £1 per hour weekly attendance bonus)
