Job summary

Staffline is hiring Abattoir Operatives for a beef processing facility in Spalding, United Kingdom. This full-time role offers a fixed Monday to Friday pattern with early starts, and provides full training with no prior experience required.

You will work in a chilled environment, follow strict hygiene and safety procedures, and contribute to daily production targets as part of a supportive team. The position includes on-site parking, PPE provided, a modern canteen, and temp-to-perm

Responsibilities

• Preparing cattle hides prior to processing
• Using specialist clipping equipment to remove excess mud, straw and debris
• Working at designated cut points within the abattoir process
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure hygiene and production standards are maintained
• Working from platforms and using safety harnesses where required
• Following food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures at all times
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Working as part of a team to achieve production targets

Job description

Abattoir Operatives to join a busy team within a beef processing facility in Spalding.

The rate of pay is £13 per hour.

This is a full-time role working

Monday to Friday, start time between

05:30am - 06:00am

14:00pm - 17:00pm.

No previous experience is required as full training will be provided.

Your Time at Work

• Preparing cattle hides prior to processing


• Using specialist clipping equipment to remove excess mud, straw and debris


• Working at designated cut points within the abattoir process


• Carrying out quality checks to ensure hygiene and production standards are maintained


• Working from platforms and using safety harnesses where required


• Following food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures at all times


• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment


• Working as part of a team to achieve production targets

This role involves working in a chilled environment, standing for extended periods and carrying out manual handling duties. Some areas of work require the use of platforms and safety harnesses.

• Previous experience in food production, manufacturing, agriculture, livestock handling, factory or abattoir roles would be beneficial but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
