Job summary

The Manchester College, part of the LTE Group, invites applications for an AAT Sessional Tutor in Manchester on an ad hoc basis. Evening work will be required, teaching AAT to Level 2 (ideally Level 3-4) to support the Business, Computing and Digital Industries Department at City Campus Manchester.

This role offers flexible contractual hours with a focus on delivering outstanding teaching and maintaining learner progress, records and delivery targets.

Qualifications

  • Experience delivering AAT to Level 2 minimum, ideally Level 3-4.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Business, Computing and Digital Industries Department at our City Campus Manchester as an AAT Sessional Tutor on an ad hoc basis. Please note that evening work will be required.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Certificate of education or PGCE.
  • Current and valid industry specialism.
  • Assessor qualifications (if required by Awarding Organisation).
  • Minimum Level 3 occupational qualification.
  • English and maths minimum level 2 Grace C or grade 4 and above.
  • Significant Experience of delivering outstanding teaching and learning.
  • Experience in teaching AAT to Level 2 minimum but preferably L3-4.
  • Proven track record ofhigh-qualityteaching in delivering subject specialism or current valid industry specialism.
  • Experience in delivering barbering qualifications alongside hairdressing qaulifications would be desirable but not essential.
  • Working as a team.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Meet delivery targets and plans.
  • Accurate and timely reports and records.
  • Positive contribution to planning processes.
