Job summary

The apprenticeship is based at 23 Riverside Studios, Amethyst Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE4 7YL, with a start date of 1 September 2026. The training is provided by FIRST INTUITION LIMITED and covers essential bookkeeping, VAT, year-end accounts and tax

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Processing bookkeeping records using cloud accounting software.
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns.
• Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts.
• Supporting the completion of Self Assessment tax returns.
• Scanning, filing and maintaining electronic client records.
• General administrative duties to support the practice.
• Communicating with clients by telephone and email.
• Learning accounting principles, bookkeeping techniques and tax procedures.
• Assisting senior members of the team with a variety of accounting tasks.
