Job summary

SI Recruitment Limited seeks an AAT Accounts Assistant to join its busy small business accounts and VAT department. You will handle bookkeeping and VAT work, and assist with accounts and Tax Return preparation for sole traders, partnerships and small companies.

The role offers study support, pension, flexible working, 25 days’ leave and a supportive, modern office environment with parking nearby.

Qualifications

• AAT qualification or proven experience in a similar role.
• Excellent communication skills across the team and clients.
• Experience in an accountancy practice.
• Strong bookkeeping and accounts preparation skills.
• Working knowledge of preparing Tax Returns.
• Good IT skills including Excel and Word and SAGE/QuickBooks/Xero.
