University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an AAC assessor and trainer to provide training to patients and their carers on the care and programming of AAC equipment. You will prepare equipment, personalise vocabularies for trials, and support the MDT during assessments and loan periods, including remote clinics when appropriate.

• Provide training to patients and carers on care and programming of AAC equipment.
• Independently run support clinics face to face or via remote platforms.
• Maintain up to date case notes and records per Trust Policy.
• Gather activity data and record it per Trust Policy.

Mansioni

• Assist with planning and delivery of AAC training for professionals and members of the public.
• Support MDT with admin during assessments and equipment loan periods.
• Liaise with local teams to collate relevant vocabularies.
• Prepare equipment and personalise AAC vocabularies for trials.
