The role demands professional C++ experience, strong understanding of Unreal Engine tools, and the ability to write production-ready code for both single and multiplayer games, with a focus on performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver high-quality game code for AAA Unreal 4 projects
• Collaborate with programming & Design teams to deliver polished game systems
• Create and maintain game logic for gameplay mechanics with automated tests
• Profile and optimise code for memory and performance per platform
• Be responsible for scoping tasks, deadlines, and communicating with production
• Collaborate with design and production to establish achievable goals
• Communicate with QA to help track down and fix priority bugs
