Job summary

BHASVIC (Brighton Hove & Sussex Sixth Form College) invites applications for a permanent part-time Media A level teacher (Eduqas/WJEC). The post is 0.587 FTE (about 13.5 hours per week) with potential to increase to 0.8 or full time, starting 1 January 2027.

Experience of Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, InDesign, Photoshop) and film making is essential. The Media and Film department is a friendly, innovative team of five teachers, offering BTEC Creative Digital Media Production and A Levels

Qualifications

• Experience teaching Media A Level (Eduqas/WJEC).
• Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, InDesign, Photoshop).
• Ability to contribute to portfolio/enrichment activities within the department.

Responsibilities

• Teach Media A Level to students (Eduqas/WJEC).
• Contribute to portfolio/enrichment activities (BHASVIC TV/Film Club).
• Collaborate with the Media and Film department to support student progression.
