Job summary

Southampton Sixth Form College is seeking a Graphics & Digital Media teacher to join the creative faculty on a part-time basis, starting ASAP. The role covers A-Level and Level 3 Digital Media/Graphics courses for about 18 hours per week, with a long-term assignment through December and potential extension.

You will assess progress, set examinations deadlines, and foster an inclusive learning environment while supporting departmental planning and student success.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher status or equivalent post-16 teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Digital Media, Graphics or related subjects.
• Strong knowledge of digital technologies in creative industries.
• Experience delivering Level 3 or A-Level qualifications desirable.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing.
