Job summary

Chichester College Group seeks an experienced Teaching and Learning Manager to lead our A Level provision. You will drive teaching quality, monitor outcomes, and support staff development to secure excellent student progress and progression opportunities.

You will influence curriculum delivery, promote innovative practices, and participate in strategic curriculum development, joining an ambitious leadership team dedicated to student success.

Qualifications

• Proven record of teaching and assessment to a consistently high standard within A Level provision.
• Experience of leading a course, subject area or A Level provision with measurable impact.
• Knowledge of curriculum and teaching and learning, evidenced by ongoing professional development.
• Relevant teaching qualification (e.g. Certificate in Education, PGCE, Level 5 Diploma).
• Strong communication skills across diverse groups and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management of the A Level provision with emphasis on teaching, learning, assessment and student experience.
• Drive outstanding student outcomes by monitoring progress, attendance, retention and achievement using data.
• Provide leadership, coaching and support to teaching staff to promote high-quality practice.
• Lead quality assurance and curriculum development activities aligned with College priorities.
