Job summary

Pulse Healthcare is seeking a Band 5 Registered General Nurse (RGN) to cover A&E shifts in Islington. The role offers full-time or part-time hours within a busy NHS environment, with competitive pay and a professional, supportive team.

You will join a hospital team delivering high-quality, patient-centered care, collaborating with multidisciplinary colleagues to ensure safe, effective treatment and positive patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• NMC Registration (6 months minimum).
• Minimum of 6 months experience in a clinical setting.
• Passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team and effectively manage patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care to ensure individual needs are met.
• Administering medications, treatments, and therapies in line with hospital policies and procedures.
• Monitoring patients’ conditions, performing clinical observations, and responding to any changes appropriately.
• Communicating effectively with patients, families, and the wider healthcare team to ensure coordinated, compassionate care.
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and ongoing professional development.
• Promoting a positive, safe, and inclusive environment that enhances patient recovery and wellbeing.
