Pulse Nursing is seeking an experienced Band 5 Accident & Emergency nurse to join our team at Hampshire Hospitals NHS FT in Basingstoke. You must hold valid NMC registration and have at least 6 months’ recent A&E experience, with two professional references and DBS/Occupational Health clearance. UK work eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Valid NMC registration.
• Minimum of 6 months’ recent A&E experience within the last 12 months.
• Ability to provide two professional references covering the previous 3 years.
• Compliance with DBS and Occupational Health clearance.
• Proof of right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care within a busy A&E department.
• Assess, monitor, and manage patients presenting with acute and emergency conditions.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure timely and safe patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation.
• Adhere to NMC guidelines, trust policies, and clinical governance standards.
• Respond calmly and effectively in high-pressure situations.
• Shift management and daily duties as assigned.
