Pulse Nursing is recruiting Accident & Emergency nurses to join our team at Wrightington, Wigan & Leigh NHS Foundation Trust. This Band 5/6 role offers a fast-paced environment with opportunities to develop essential emergency care skills.

Qualifications

• Valid NMC registration.
• Minimum of 6 months' recent A&E experience within the last 12 months.
• Ability to provide two professional references covering the previous 3 years.
• Compliance with DBS and Occupational Health clearance requirements.
• Proof of right to work in the UK.
• Strong clinical knowledge and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care within a busy Accident & Emergency department.
• Assess, monitor, and manage patients presenting with acute and emergency conditions.
• Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure timely and safe patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation.
• Adhere to NMC guidelines, trust policies, and clinical governance standards.
• Respond calmly and effectively in high-pressure and emergency situations.
