Job summary

Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an A&E Administration Team Leader with supervisory and administration experience. You will lead a team of Receptionists and Clerks, ensuring a high-quality administrative service to the A&E Department and Same Day Emergency Care units.

Responsibilities include staff supervision, rota management, HR processes, training, and ensuring compliance with Trust policies.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills to deal with regular enquiries via a range of media (email, referral, phone).
• Ability to train staff in systems and processes relevant to the role.
• Experience in supervising Receptionists/Clerks and coordinating workflow.

Responsibilities

• Support the Receptionists/Clerks to adhere to Trust policies and SOPs.
• Provide day-to-day guidance and support on issues within the service.
• Coordinate staff including allocation of work and rota planning.
• Plan and circulate weekly/monthly rosters to ensure adequate staffing.
• Act as first point of contact for service users and agencies.
