Artic Building Services is seeking an experienced A/C Installation Working Supervisor to oversee air-conditioning installation projects while actively engaging in hands-on work. The role leads installation teams, maintains high workmanship standards and ensures projects are delivered safely and on specification.

• At least 10 years of A/C installation experience.
• Air-conditioning, refrigeration or mechanical engineering qualifications.
• Current refrigerant-handling certification where required.
• Strong practical knowledge of A/C installation methods and commissioning.
• Good understanding of health and safety requirements.
• Ability to supervise installation works hands-on.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.

Artic Building Services is seeking an experienced and motivated A/C Installation Working Supervisor to oversee air-conditioning installation projects while remaining actively involved in hands-on work. The successful candidate will lead installation teams, maintain high standards of workmanship and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate A/C installation works on site.
• Allocate daily tasks and monitor the quality and progress of work.
• Install, commission and test a range of air-conditioning systems.
• Ensure installations comply with manufacturers' instructions, project specifications and relevant regulations.
• Maintain high health and safety standards, including completing site documentation and risk assessments.
• Identify and resolve installation issues promptly.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, subcontractors and other trades.
• Support maintenance and service activities when required.
• Ensure tools, materials and equipment are used safely and effectively.
• Complete installation records, progress reports and other required documentation.
• Mentor less‑experienced team members and promote good working practices.

Experience and Qualifications

• At least 10 years of A/C installation experience.
• Relevant air-conditioning, refrigeration or mechanical engineering qualifications.
• Appropriate industry certifications, including current refrigerant-handling certification where required.
• Strong practical knowledge of A/C installation methods, equipment and commissioning procedures.
• Good working knowledge of maintenance and service activities.
• Proven experience supervising installation teams and managing site activities.
• Ability to supervise installation works while remaining hands-on.
• Good understanding of health and safety requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
