Analytical Consultant

Location: London, UK
Duration: 02/06/25 – 24/04/26
Rate: £35.58 per hour
Hours: 9am – 6pm

Role Overview

You will apply analytical frameworks and advanced data modeling to generate insights for business recommendations, evaluate client business fundamentals, and help accelerate growth and transformation. You will lead at least one client or partner engagement independently, building deep relationships and networks. Your responsibilities include identifying methodologies in marketing and media analytics, measurement, and attribution, developing sector analysis and opportunity forecasts, and presenting these to sales teams before client meetings.

You will drive outcomes for clients, industries, or projects as a key contributor, with minimal assistance. Your role involves identifying scalable solutions to marketing and business challenges, developing customized analyses, and translating data into actionable business insights. You will also address escalated issues, collaborate within teams, and communicate complex analysis outcomes clearly to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with sales teams to drive growth, analyze business opportunities, and develop sales and marketing materials.
  • Participate in high-level strategy discussions with industry leaders and sales management.
  • Act as a consultant to develop joint business plans, review them, and provide analytical input for improvements.
  • Lead development of measurement plans and analytical models for client projects, customizing tools and frameworks to identify opportunities and optimize business performance.
  • Manage relationships with client stakeholders, providing strategic support and translating data into business insights.
  • Support measurement solution design, implementation, and maintenance, including conducting studies and integrating data into strategic planning.
  • Create data-driven narratives and sales pitches to support client business objectives and demonstrate Google product value.
  • Assist clients in integrating first-party data with Google platforms to enhance performance.
  • Identify and recommend Google products related to measurement, attribution, and privacy, collaborating with product teams as needed.
  • Build strong relationships within client organizations, especially in analytics, tech, and data functions, and conduct market and industry analysis.
Knowledge & Skills
  • Confidently interact with senior leaders, address challenging questions, and maintain professionalism under pressure.
  • Knowledge of experimental design principles, data collection, and analytical techniques.
  • Ability to persuade stakeholders using data and storytelling, encouraging increased investment.
  • Understanding of business models, organizational functions, and profitability drivers.
  • Quick learner of technical concepts, with the ability to explain technologies and analyze technical issues.
  • Ability to combine technical and financial data to demonstrate the value of Google solutions, and to influence clients and partners as a trusted advisor.
