EU Analytics Leader - Analytics Business Consulting

The Analytics Business Consulting Team focuses on supporting our customers by designing and delivering data and analytics solutions addressing core business issues faced by today’s life sciences organizations. Their goal is to leverage analytics and Machine Learning to help our customers engage more effectively with Healthcare Professionals, thereby improving patient care. We also ensure the enablement and adoption of products aligned with Veeva Data Cloud.

The role of the EU Leader of Analytics in Business Consulting involves five main responsibilities:

1. Customer Engagement—Identify the source of business issues and leverage industry data and analytics to deliver solutions that drive successful outcomes for EU-based customers. Lead and support sales cycles for major programs, sponsoring at least $5m in sales annually.
2. Delivery Success—Oversee the quality and manage EU-based delivery teams for analytics programs ranging from $100K to $2M, ensuring customer success and building strong relationships through delivery.
3. Building the Right Team—Hire and develop junior resources, grow the analytics consulting team, and provide hands-on guidance and mentorship.
4. Leading a Healthy Business—Take P&L responsibility for the EU analytics practice, ensuring growth and profitability.
5. Partnerships—Establish strong collaborations with the commercial consulting team and strategy leads for our key data products.

What You'll Do

• Manage business development cycles for new projects and add-on engagements, driving over $5M in annual revenue.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with Director and VP-level client personnel.
• Collaborate with Business Consulting and Veeva Data teams to drive analytics solutions across Clinical to Commercial areas.
• Shape future offerings leveraging Veeva Data Cloud and new product releases.
• Oversee delivery teams in leveraging data for solution recommendations and advisory services.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in methodology and approaches.
• Ensure program delivery progress, manage risks, and keep stakeholders informed.
• Stay updated on industry trends relevant to clients’ businesses.
• Recruit, develop, and lead high-quality analytics professionals.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience with analytics programs like Segmentation & Targeting, Commercial Analytics, Omni-channel, Marketing Mix Modelling, and Field Force optimization.
• Proven track record of managing client relationships and delivering programs over $2M annually.
• Deep understanding of pharmaceutical data sets, especially sales & claims data, and data availability in the EU market.
• Core management consulting skills, including facilitation, client presentations, project management, and structured problem-solving approaches.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel 20-40%, depending on client needs.
