HVAC Recruitment Limited in Birmingham is seeking a Shift Assistant Estate Manager to lead a 7-person maintenance team and oversee Hard FM services on a large healthcare estate. The role is predominantly office-based with some hands-on work, and reports to the engineering management team.

You will supervise 7 staff (2 Electrical, 2 Mechanical, 2 Maintenance Assistants, 1 Fabric) and coordinate planned, corrective and reactive maintenance across shifts.

Competenze

• Electrical route qualifications required or mechanical route qualifications required.
• Experience with electrical or mechanical maintenance in a large facility.
• Full UK Driving Licence and ability to pass a DBS check.

2 days – 7am–7pm
2 nights – 7pm–7am
4 days off

The Role

We are recruiting for a Shift Assistant Estate Manager to support the delivery of Hard FM services across a large healthcare estate in Birmingham.

This is approximately 80% management / office based and 20% hands-on, with direct responsibility for a multi-skilled maintenance team.

You will manage 7 members of staff – 2 Electrical, 2 Mechanical, 2 Maintenance Assistants and 1 Fabric.

Candidates can come from either an Electrical or Mechanical background.

• City & Guilds Pipefitting & Plumbing Level 2 & 3
• City & Guilds Plumbing Level 2 & 3
• Or relevant equivalent Mechanical qualifications

Also required

• Previous management / supervisory experience
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Ability to pass a Standard DBS check
