HVAC Recruitment Limited in Birmingham is seeking a Shift Assistant Estate Manager to lead a 7-person maintenance team and oversee Hard FM services on a large healthcare estate. The role is predominantly office-based with some hands-on work, and reports to the engineering management team.

You will supervise 7 staff (2 Electrical, 2 Mechanical, 2 Maintenance Assistants, 1 Fabric) and coordinate planned, corrective and reactive maintenance across shifts.

Competenze

• Electrical route qualifications required or mechanical route qualifications required.
• Experience with electrical or mechanical maintenance in a large facility.
• Full UK Driving Licence and ability to pass a DBS check.

Mansioni

• Directly manage the 7-person shift maintenance team.
• Manage planned, corrective and reactive maintenance.
• Allocate and prioritise daily workloads.
• Ensure PPMs are completed within required timescales.
• Monitor SLAs and maintenance performance.
• Manage sickness, annual leave and shift coverage.
• Deal with engineering and operational escalations.
• Support the team technically where required.
• Carry out staff meetings and appraisals.
• Deliver toolbox talks and relevant training.
• Ensure statutory and contractual compliance.
• Work alongside the wider engineering management team.
