Job summary

Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a General Services Assistant/Porter for Camborne Redruth Community Hospital. You will be responsible for hotel services, portering, stock delivery, and maintaining hygienic standards in line with policy.

This role operates across a 7 day week, 0600–2200 hours, requiring flexibility, reliability and a customer-focused approach to support patients, staff and visitors throughout the hospital.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar position is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide Hotel Services with portering duties as part of the Community Hospital team.
• Receipting goods and checking for/reporting errors.
• Control stock usage in absence of supervisor, maintain inventory accuracy.
• Maintain security and accountability for keys/equipment issued.
• Follow policies, procedures and COSHH to ensure safety and hygiene.
