Job summary

Dorset Council is seeking 7.5T Drivers to join the Waste & Recycling team on an ongoing temporary basis. You will drive 7.5T vehicles on designated routes, perform daily safety checks and work as part of a team to deliver excellent service to local communities.

Applicants should hold a valid 7.5T license, Driver CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card, with no more than six penalty points. Strong teamwork and communication skills, plus a safety-first mindset, are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid 7.5T license, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 points on your driving licence.
• Reliable, positive attitude and good communication.

Responsibilities

• Drive 7.5T vehicles on designated waste and recycling routes.

• Ensure collections are completed safely and efficiently.
• Work with the team to deliver a high standard of service.
• Communicate professionally with members of the public when required.
